Solids Conquered – Pumping Made Easy

Derek N. owns one of the oldest slatted cattle barns in Northeast Iowa. Over 30 years ago, his dad and grandpa were pioneers when they built it. They wanted a better way to handle manure, so they dug a pit, poured concrete walls, and completed the county's first slatted cattle barn. Derek admits that was the only time the pit wasn't somewhat full of solids. The pump-out system didn't work as planned, making it more challenging to manage than expected. Now, as the third generation on this family farm, Derek is tackling the same issue. With NGA by Under the Slats, he's steadily reducing solids. Soon, he'll be pumping effortlessly.
